I am loving this new game! Yoga is great for movement and core strengthening as well as for providing proprioceptive input (deep pressure) which can have a calming affect on kids. I have been using this game as a warm up in our OT sessions and the kids really like it! I have modified the game a bit and have the kids take turns spinning and then they all hold the poses for 10 seconds. Some of the poses are a little tricky, so I recommend going through the cards prior to playing and taking out any that your kids might not be ready for (especially the 2 person poses) but most of them are great and the visual pictures are nice as well. This is a perfect addition to some of the other yoga cards I have in a fun game form. You can also play some classical music with this game for an added calming bonus!
