This was my FAVORITE new game that I found at the recent AOTA conference . I love that this game incorporates both gross motor activities for motor planning/ proximal strengthening and also visual motor skills for practice with writing letters! My daughter and I have been playing this game at home as she is going to kindergarten next year and it is a wonderful way to practice forming letters! She just loves the pirate themed gross motor action cards! If your child hasn’t learned the lower case letters yet, that is OK, you can work on writing the letters in upper case (or tracing the letters as well) ! I love that this game was created by an Occupational Therapist and many developmental skills are addressed in this game. I highly recommend this for early writing skills fun!
