Hungry Dog Motor Skills Game
Approximate Ages:
3-6
We use this toy to work on:
Visual motor, eye hand skills, scissor skill development
✓PTT Tips:
Using tweezers, children pick up the dog bone feed the dog’s open mouth! Even though this game has no flashing lights or songs, the kids really love this activity. This is a great basic pre-school/kinder game for working on scissor skill development. Make sure to use fingertips only on the tweezers. You can even have the child hold a marble size item with their last two-fingers to elicit a tripod grasp. If this is too difficult, the children can use a pincer grasp (thumb and pointer finger). This game also comes in a Hungry Bunny and Hungry Monkey version!
*This game has small pieces, so not recommended for kids who mouth items.
